"In order to see a change in the world, we must first be the change in our world"

Hi I'm Matt, Creator of THERESA'S BLISS. My background is far from the culinary world. A former builder, for the past 13 years of my life I was in the trade industry, a former Builder, however that was never been a passion of mine, it was just a career I was told to choose once I had left school, so i did, going through the motions week in week out.

When Covid-19 hit in 2020, work as a builder was slowly drying up and I had reached a point in my life where I'd enough of going through the motions. At that point in time I had decided to create something that was not only important to me, but what I felt is truly important to the world. I see illness and disease on the rise and the effect it has on people and their families, I see the decline in the quality of food we eat, and feel this is such an important area which needs attention the most.

My vision is to change the way we view health as a whole, bringing back organic food and ingredients to the best of my ability and creating meals which help the body thrive in its natural state. Before 2020 I previously had no experience in the culinary world, so I spent months working in kitchens for free to better my skills so i could build a strong foundation.

At the start of January 2021, THERESA'S BLISS opened to the Wynnum community. I'm deeply grateful for all the support we've had on this incredible journey thus far.

The love for fresh smelling banana bread.

That first sip of coffee in the morning.

Cooking in my spare time as a method of relaxation and fun.

Studying nutrition to educate and provide people with quality and healthy meals.

& exercising to strengthen my body and to add to my overall wellbeing and quality of life pretty much sums me up in a few notes.

Hi, my name is Emily also known as @cleanlivingeats on Instagram, I collaborate with Theresa’s Bliss to provide quality and nutritious meals. I am currently studying nutrition at university and plan to extend these studies with a masters of dietetics. Any free chance I have, I am busy cooking in the kitchen, creating recipes and educating myself on current nutrition knowledge.

I feel as though my purpose and passion for cooking stemmed from an unhealthy relationship with food that I used to hold and an unclear perception of what “healthy” was. However, as a member of the Theresa’s Bliss team, I want to be able to provide individuals with nutritious meals that don’t need to taste bland and boring, rather, filling and delicious that allow you to feel energised and ready to tackle the day.
